Why Train With Us?

This is not a generic “deco course” in a flat, forgettable setting. You will train in two dramatically different environments that push your skills and broaden your experience.

Hudson Grotto: A Natural Classroom

Your first training dives take place in Hudson Grotto, a unique sinkhole with tannic water that creates deep amber light and a mood unlike anywhere else. Below the surface you will encounter thermoclines, a visible chemocline, and even a shimmering helocline. It is a rare chance to see and feel how these layers change buoyancy, visibility, and the way light behaves. You will refine your ascent control, gas switches, and stop discipline in water that is as much a science lab as a dive site.

The Gulf’s Mexican Pride and Pils Wrecks

Once your skills are dialed in, we take them offshore. The Mexican Pride is a massive freighter resting in 130+ feet of water, teeming with marine life and rich with history. The Pils, also known as the Pilsner, wreck sits nearby, smaller but equally full of structure and life. Both are ideal for staged decompression practice, large enough to explore, deep enough to be meaningful, and rewarding enough to remind you why you started diving in the first place.

Real-World Conditions, Real Confidence

By combining an inland sink with tannic, layered water and open-water wrecks in the Gulf, you get the best of both worlds: controlled conditions to build precision and dynamic environments to prove you can apply it anywhere.

Instruction That Goes Beyond the Manual

Brennan Autry brings decades of technical diving experience, Navy service, and a health sciences background to every dive. You are not just learning how to perform decompression. You are learning why every choice matters.
