Introduction to SCUBA

Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, then our Discover Scuba Diving or Introduction to Scuba Diving program are for you.

While not a scuba certification course, these programs are a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. 

Scuba Diver / Supervised Diver

Are you interested in exploring the underwater world, but are not sure if you want to commit to the complete Open Water Scuba Diver Course? We have an option for you! The Scuba Diver or  Supervised Diver Program will introduce you to all of the same subjects and skills as the Open Water Scuba Diver course; however the in-water training is abbreviated to save time. This certification will allow you to dive under direct supervision of a diving professional.

Open Water Scuba Diver

Most popular diving course in the world. Throughout the course you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including diving equipment and techniques through theory sessions, confined water lessons and open water practice sessions. After completion you will be free to dive anywhere in the world along with your buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters / 60 feet! Minimum age is 10 years.

Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is a multi-day course which enables certified Open Water divers to explore new diving activities under supervision in a well-organized and structured environment. It gives you the chance to expand your skills. The program has 2 core dives, Deep and Navigation, and you get to choose a further dives from a variety including, Boat, Wreck, Drift, Night diving and other specialty activities, all completed under the supervision of your instructor. The minimum number of dives is 5, but the total will depend on which agency you choose to be certified through.

Rescue Diver

The Rescue Diver course is a crucial step in your diving education and is highly recommended to all divers. Throughout this course you will come to appreciate and understand the importance of this training relevant to diver safety and incident minimization and management.
Proof of current first aid training and CPR is required before commencement of the course, or it can be taken through us with this course.

Master Diver

Master Diver is one of the most prestigious levels that you can get in diving. It is also the highest level of certification outside the instructor categories. Only experienced divers who can combine theoretical knowledge, practical skills and wide experience can reach this level. Master Diver course is the leading diving level which is an indication of a dive mater of the highest class.

One Star Diver and One Star Nitrox Diver

The 1 Star Diver training program is a beginner program. The candidates that complete this course successfully, become a certified candidate of the diving industry.

 1 Star Diver course; consists of three main parts which are class work with the instructor’s narration, pool trainings (optional) and open sea diving.

A One Star Diver is qualified to dive within the following parameters: 

-To use air as a breathing gas; 

-To make dives which do not require mandatory in-water decompression stops; 

-To make dives during normal daylight hours; 

-To dive in environments where direct vertical access to the surface is possible; 

-To dive only when appropriate support is available at the surface; and 

-To dive under conditions that are equal or better than the conditions in which he was trained. 

-To dive to a recommended maximum depth of Twentyfive (25) meters with other SCUBA divers of the same level.


A One Star Nitrox Diver is qualified to dive within the following parameters: 

-To use air or until nitrox-32 as a breathing gas; 

-To make dives which do not require mandatory in-water decompression stops; 

-To make dives during normal daylight hours; 

-To dive in environments where direct vertical access to the surface is possible; 

-To dive only when appropriate support is available at the surface; and 

-To dive under conditions that are equal or better than the conditions in which he was trained. 

-To dive to a recommended maximum depth of Thirty (30) meters with other SCUBA divers of the same level.

Two (2) Star Diver and Two Star Nitrox Diver

It’s the diver who has the experience of open sea diving. The diver with 2 stars can dive maximum 30 meters deep with at least one diver with 2 stars. The divers with 2 stars smaller than 18 years old can dive maximum 24 meters deep under the leadership of at least one diver with 3 stars. The divers with 2 stars older than 18 years old may dive for the training purposes up to 40 meters deep under the supervision and inspection of the diving instructor. Nitrox certification allows the 2 Star Diver to use enriched air (Nitrox) of up to 40%.

Three (3) Star Diver and Three Star Nitrox Diver

He/she is the diver who can guide the divers in different levels. He/she is authorized and responsible to ensure that the diving session of the diving group which he/she leads is in compliance with the safe diving standards.
He/she can dive maximum 40 meters deep. He/she can dive 50 meters deep for the training purposes under the inspection and supervision of a diving instructor. Three star diving course is planned in order to give you information about leading a group in each stage of the diving.
